I am going to be watching the new Valkyrie and the F6B very closely for a year or two prior to pulling the trigger on one or both - as I did with my original Tourer.

My current Valks will probably outlast me even if I live to be 90 so the new F6s will be additions to the fleet and not replacements. I'm really jazzed that Honda did this. Just wish they would have offered these models instead of the Rune, or perhaps as a base model to it.

I really am loving my F6B more and more. It is the closest thing to my Valkyrie Interstate in the current Honda offering as far as I am concerned. Quicker, more nimble and most of the things I wished my Valkyrie had in terms of updated technology. (1800 CC's, fuel injection, self cancelling turn signals, center stand, heated grips to name a few.)

Some gripe about the lack of cruise but for me it is a non issue. The sound system is much improved over my 2000 Interstate and the handeling is much improved as well.

It's a great looking bike. I'm hoping it's popularity will keep Honda making them awhile. It will be interesting to see what the aftermarket industry does with it, and Honda as well. Glad to see it added to this site. As for me, well, this po' boy will probably be riding the old girl until I can't ride anymore, or until I win the lottery.

As far as music storage, in the left fairing pocket there is a power port and an aux input that I installed a SAT radio in. Additionaly there is also a USB port in the saddlebags that one can either plug their Ipod or memory stick into that displays tracks on the factory radio screen.

I didn't realize the sound system had those features, especially the USB integration.  That makes the F6B even more tempting.

Put this set up in the left fairing pocket. Cost me $25 for the entire thing on Amazon, took less than 15 minutes to install and set up. Plays thru the Aux1 setting on my radio.

Ya I thought my 1998 1500c would be the last bike I would buy but then they brought the valkyrie back!!!!!!!!!!! f6b and full gold wing have to much on them like a cleaner bike with the f6 motor thats why im glad to see new val, but will have to see if it gets the following that the 1500s have..................... I know im going to enjoy riding mine

It's very good, but I'm not sure it's that much better than some other products, and the price is ridiculous.

I put several coats of it on the weekend I bought my F6B last August.  The first one was scary, as the cloth picked up plenty of red color just as I had heard it would.  But the stuff must have protected the paint well, because subsequent coats showed no paint on the cloth.

I've developed a routine that seems to work fine.  Whenever I wash the bike, after drying I give all painted surfaces a coat of LG.  Then between washings, I dust it with one of those California Dash Dusters (I live on an unpaved road), then I finish it with Lucas Slick Mist.  This product is truly amazing.  It puts a great shine on the bike, and seems to add a lot of paint protection too.  It costs less that $10 for a huge bottle.

There's no doubt the F6B's paint is soft.  I can't remember a vehicle I've owned that scratched easier.  However, you can keep it looking great if you give it some extra care.  Mine now has nearly 10K miles and the paint looks beautiful.

There's even one benefit to the soft paint.  I had a minor scratch on a saddlebag.  With my Valkyrie, I would have needed a polishing compound to remove it, but on the F6B's soft paint, a bit of cleaner wax buffed it out easily.  Of course the cloth had a good bit of red coloring afterwards.
