Anyone tent camping at Inzane? If so have you decided on a campground? I enjoy camping, haven't decided whether to bring tent or not.

Hey Hillbilly,

Monica and I will be staying at the Rutledge Lake Campgrounds in Fletcher, NC.  It is only about 2 miles from Ground Zero.  We will also be tent camping.  We will be coming in Tuesday and leaving Thursday.

We called Rutledge Lake and she told me they were not renting any tent campsites. We are staying at the KOA campground at Asheville East Swannonoa Campground.

I just spoke to the folks at the Rutledge Lake RV Park and they said they have tent sites available at $30 per nite and that most are available without reservations , also they are only 3 miles from the airport...

The Asheviile area is very expensive when we did our scouting ride even The Days Inn wanted $132.00 plus tax for a Saturday night  :o . They told me " We don't need to make deal's our No Vacancy light will be on tonight " .  $30.00 to set-up a tent ...Damn

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

38 miles via south on Hwy 176 and then 280 or 32 miles along the BRP.
