Engine bogging?

Hey guys...having some issues with engine bogging down under throttle. I just installed DS tire, changed out vacuum hoses, air filter and changed all fluids. It idles fine, but when accelerating......it's not responding like it should. Hearing more muffler noise than usual. What do you think. I was planning to remove tank, air box, and check hose connections again.

If you already removed the airbox to get at the hoses....you may not have it on all six carbs well........or the vent line for the tank may be partially kinked

Check the vent hose from the gas tank. If it's kinked, it can stop the fuel flow. Double check the vacuum line from the #6 intake to the petcock for cracks/ properly installed. Both before you tear stuff apart again

I agree with the air box possibility, grab a mirror and see if they are all seated correctly. Its a good time to double check the vacuum lines too.

I'm assuming it ran properly before the recent work. If not, we'll look elsewhere like the vacuum diaphragms.

When you changed out the vacuum lines did you by any chance change the length of the fuel line from the tank?

40 lbs with no rubbing

Thanks for feedback......fuel line length unchanged.......will check out vacuum lines and vent lines again.......starting working nights again so Ill start tomorrow breaking it down again. Fyi.......that airbox is lots of fun. Lol

I would get a mirror and a small flashlight and carefully examine all the plastic tubes.  If one or more arent on good enough you can correct that without "breaking it down"
