black is beautiful if kept clean, that is the hard part.

I concur, if let sit even one week after washing a black bike,  the dust shows up and is seen VERY quickly.  Maybe it would help after 1-2 hours to cool pipes down after riding if I put the cover back on the bike though?

I've tried the Pledge thing.  I believe that it attracts dust.  

I use this.....



Spray some on a micro fiber cloth and wipe down.  Easy peasy.

ok, i'll be heading to the auto parts to get some of that. I have the black liquid polish but didn't know about the black detailer. Not for the valk, but i have a black wing that is a beauty when clean, but the dust has settled on it 30 minutes after a good clean up.

It's a Valkyrie they are all beautiful. I have noticed whenever I ride in large groups,I can walk right up to my red and white 97, while many others are searching for theirs in a sea of black. Enjoy it.
