Morning ride started out OK.
At the intersection did a double head check then pulled out, looked in the mirror and I see headlights coming over the hill so that is a signal to twist the wick. Take her up to the top of third, up shift twice and let 40 mph bleed off to get to the speed limit. (kinda normal, its a blind hill)
5 min later I am float #6 in the morning parade of the "10 under the speed limit guy"

All is about standared, visor up nice day commuting.

Then float #3 or 4 re runs over a road kill skunk.

Honestly it is a tingle on the tounge like spearmint gum, with a different flavor. The roof of my mouth is numb along with the tip of my tounge and the aftertaste is something like that left after syphoning gasoline.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

Sorry to hear how you got skunked!

I've smelled roadkill skunk many times at only a few feet away.

But have you noticed that skunk at a distance sorta/kinda
smells like hamburger?
A guy called me a Ba$tard, I said in my case it's an accident
of birth, in your case you're a self made man.

I always (seriously) thought that the very first whiff that you smell while it's still faint (you know, before the motherload), smells like coffee brewing. Only for a moment.

I've always thought it smelled like some stuff we used to buy up in Humboldt County back in the day
