Left Fletcher NC around 7:30 and I had made it to Warner Robins GA by noon.
Felt good and weather looked great so decided to make it a one shot deal.

Lost about 20 minutes as I-75 was backed up to a complete stop, don't know why but I could see that it was a long back up.
Good thing is that I was right at an exit so I exited and used a side road to get on I-75 a few miles down (like 20 miles), traffic was clear  :cooldude:

Got some caught in some light rain, not enough to get my rain gear on.
I got an App that shows the showers, it is great when it works  ;D
A really bad storm had gone before me, it tore down one of those green highway signs.
Stopped to fuel between Ocala and the Turnpike and looked on the App and saw showers ahead of me, so when in to get a quick bite to eat and showers blew over by the time I got back on the road.

I am really glad I was able to make it to Inzane, you get to meet a lot of people, look at so many personalized Valkyries, ride some great roads but one of my favorites was to get to spend some time with fellow Florida Valksters.

I learned that:

Jeff, McKay is the nicest guy around, families would trust him with their kids  ;D

James, really likes bologna   :2funny:

Greg, is also a nice guy that does not mind giving people a ride, he knows what I am talking about and that is all I am saying  :2funny:

Pappy, easy to get him to spend some $$$ on his Valk, he bought a killer seat and he blamed me for it  :( :)

Lesa, don't mess with that girl, she is one tough cookie

Billy, he really, really, really, really, really  HATES Highways, he made that clear from the start to the end  :2funny:

John, he is like "THE LEGEND", everyone knows him, they almost rolled out the red carpet for him  ;D

Bob and Michele, are very organized, you should see how they packed the trailer

Todd and Pennie, all I got to say is "you guys rock", it was really nice of you guys inviting us to your guyses pad  ;D Thanks

Everyone be safe getting back home and let us know you have made it home okay.  :cooldude:

Like I told Pennie, Jack, we really appreciate all the pictures and videos you guys posted. Almost made us feel like we were up there..well, not really..but it helped. Glad you made it home safe and sound. See you soon Brother.

Glad you had a safe trip home Jack.  Enjoyed riding with you and chatting at Tod and Pennie's. I rode home to Ohio with two others and we made 600 miles in 11-1/2 hours.  One frog strangler in W. VA. just before we got to Ohio.  Once in Ohio the sun came out to welcome us back.  See you in the fall.

Actually, left at 7:20 am and parked in my driveway at 7:05 pm.
Almost 12 hours including rain delays, gas stops (3), and a lunch stop and a detour at I-75.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, look forward to a next year Florida Meet at the Mountains   :cooldude:

Mike

It was great meeting you and Liz and hope we can get together in the near future.
I got to tip my hat to you, those turns on the Rattler are very technical, even more so than the Tail of the Dragon and you did it with a passenger.  :cooldude:
I heard you got yourself a new seat, good for you, hope you like it.

As far as the rear foot pegs, you know you can get you some of those too
Larue got them first and I followed soon after, if you get some, then we can for a club  :2funny:

I think I saw you guys on I-40 on Wednesday as you were heading out. It was around 11:30 and you were heading east. I just got a quick glimpse so not sure if it was you or not.

Be safe brother and say hi to Liz
