Seems like someone that lives close to this lad should oughtta go see what happened
to him.

I remember ChrisJ CMA saying that he was close by, and could be of help.

Or perhaps the entire Florida Board could make the effort.

I don't usually get involved in others affairs, but when it comes to hospital,
I'm there. (but I'm a little too far north)

I know where Bruce lives.  My thoughts are that if he was home he would have posted.  I think he is still in Birmingham which is no doubt troubling.   We can all pray for him, If we don't hear from him soon, I can go by his place.

Chrisj CMA

After some prayer and discussing this with Judy......I think I will take a ride over to Bruce's house.  I have a letter already written from us (The VRCC) wishing him the best if no one is home (which is what I expect)

Will post what happens when I get back

CaribouHunter

I live in Hoover, and if I knew his last name and hospital I'd run by and visit him.  CaribouHunter

Chrisj CMA

No one home at the house......I left the note......I just pray things are getting better just longer than we thought......

Xtracho

Just seeing this thread. When I'm home in PCB I'll also try to catch up with him. Good on you Chrisj, for riding over to FWB to check on him. Wishing you the best BF!

Good Deal........the fact that he can have visitors is great news

Anyone know what type of surgery or problem he had/has? If it's to be kept private I understand.

Was not aware of that at all. Prayers from Brazil to BF.

You can send an e-card to BF through TMC:

http://www.trinitymedicalonline.com/trinity-medical-center/carecard.aspx

Thank you, Connie.

Let's see how many cards we can have delivered to his room.  Those can really be meaningful when one is imprisoned in a hospital room.

The link was not readily apparent... had to scour their site.  Hopefully BF will be flooded with e-cards, as certain others were!   ;)

Something to think about is that it's been over two weeks now.  I didn't get the impression from the conversation that he was expecting it to last that long in the hospital.  I can tell you from experience that is too long and it's weighty.

Please let's see if we can get a couple of hundred cards sent his way.

Sorry, what I meant was that it wasn't easy to locate the link on their site.  Once I found the link, it was easy enough to post the direct URL, to save others the trouble of trying to find it.

Here is the link again; name and room number are required.

Yes, Connie one of the rewarding qualities of being part of the VRCC was when the little girl that delivered the emails commented that when she came into work that morning she knew Carl had come back to the hospital.  the VRCC community is a particularly good group of people and one place it shows
itself is when we flood a hospital prisoner with email cards.

Sometimes I think about injuring myself again just for the thrill of getting all those e-cards.   ;)

I don't really have much to say.  I just wanted to keep the link near the top.
