Pastor Terry Jones and Patriot Riders (?) Protest

Well a lot of Hype and Drama about the "Patriot Riders" and Terry Jones,...all fizzeled BIGTIME!

The City would not let Terry Jones and his biker buddies near the big Mosque and made him hold his speech in front of City Hall.
    HOMELAND SECURITY WAS RIGHT THERE


He was a bit late,...so whats new? But the "Patriot Riders" decided to split up and high tail it out of Dearborn well before the pastor showed up.
   THE ARAB AMERICAN HISTORY MUSUEM IN FRONT OF CITY HALL


    NEWS CREWS AND POLICE WERE EVERYWHERE


      POLICE WERE FREINDLY AND VERY PROFESTIONAL


      PASTOR tERRY WAS CORDIAL AND ANSWERED ANYONES QUESTIONS


      THERE WASN'T MUCH OF A CROWD THERE


       THE PASTOR SPOKE HIS PEACE


        HIS SUPPORTORS WERE FEW AND SEEMED A BIT,...WELL,..DUMBFOUNDED


        THE DINER KIDDIECORNER FROM CITY HALL HAD A SENSE OF HUMOR,...READ THE RED SIGN


        POLICE PRESENCE WAS EVERYWHERE


I just wonder what the "Patriot Riders" are really like? It was they that convinced Terry Jones to speak on "Sharia Law", but didn't have the gonads to ride "escorted" into Dearborn.

This world is getting stranger every day,...or are we just a bunch of scared nitwits?

I was told (jokingly) by the police chief of Dearborn that the leader of the "Patriot Riders" looked a lot like me.

He must be one sorry ass biker.

I believe that Motorcity GiG may have gotten his information from an unreliable source. 

But either way the media hype proved that sometimes hype=crap.

I still believe (and always will) in free speech, but to bring motorcyclists into the media mix (even if it was their rally) only gives all motorcyclists a bad name.
