Reading the F6B forum and found this list of upgrades that someone wants added to the bike

1. Cruise control
2. ABS (for USA)
3. Removable Trunk
4. 2100cc engine with 6th gear
5. CLEAR-COAT on all colors
6. Electric taller windshield
7. Redesigned seat with back support

They seriously aren't clear-coating their paint jobs anymore?

I can see some of those things, but others I could do without.  I took one for a demo ride this weekend and really liked it.  Powerful and smooth and handled great.  I really appreciated the brakes.  They were quite strong.  It made me wonder if the F6B's had standard brakes as opposed to the "linked" brakes (which I hate) like on the Wing.

Cruise Control:  The lack of cruise control on a bike like this (especially when it is already available on the Wing), is inexcusable.  Seriously, that would sway me against buying it.  But then again, I'm spoiled because I have it on my Valk.

ABS Brakes:  I'm sure they are nice, but I don't have much desire for ABS brakes on a bike.  It wouldn't sway my choice either way.

Removable trunk...if you are adding the trunk, you may as well have bought the Goldwing.  Though I could see where it would be nice for longer trips, then take it off when not needed.

2100cc Engine with 6th gear:  The ride was short, but I didn't notice the need for a 6th gear on the highway.  On the cc's, I guess there is never enough HP for some people.  I thought the power was more than adequate.

Clear Coat on paint:  I didn't notice this issue but it seems like it would be a problem.

Taller Electric Windshield:  I think the windshield (or lack of) wouldn't have bothered me as much if I had my full-face helmet rather than my half-helmet that I had that day.  My eyes were watering like crazy from the wind.  But I'd also probably want a taller windshield.  The dealer said there is one available as an option.  As for the electric adjustment, I guess it would be nice.  But I also think I'd find a setting that I like and then never touch it again...kinda like power seats in a car.  How often do you adjust it?

Redesigned seat/backrest:  I thought the rider-seat was very comfy...at least for the 15-20 mins or so that I sat on it.  I liked how wide and firm it was.  The passenger seat looked like it wouldn't be comfy for long though...especially with no backrest.

After having my BMW K1200LTE for awhile, I've grown to love the electric windshield...while I normally set it where I just look over the top, I drop it down in town, raise it all the way up in the rain, or if I'm running above 80 and wanna hear the tunes.

For me the cruise, tunes and windshield are the cat's meow.
