440s again

 In Dec I installed a new set of progressive 440s HD 13inchers. I love the ride now but while washing the lady I noticed the chrome coming off the lower spring buckets. Has anybody else had any problems or I'm just a lucky one.

I installed 440's in October a few years ago...pretty much the end of riding season here in PA.  By spring, my springs had rusted pretty badly from sitting in my unheated garage.  To say I was pissed would be an understatement after spending $400 on them.

spray em with wd-40 and pray.....
