If the allegations were not true. Where are the Emails in question?

Why is there a concerted effort to hide this and only this set of Emails. Conspiracy?

Hiding evidence, or destroying it, is considered and would be instructed by the Judge in a case as

I agree, however I'd guess the commissioner has been promised that as long as he protects the Big Cheese, if anything DOES stick, there will be a presidential pardon coming his way before Obama makes his exit...
