:cooldude:Hi All, I just wanted to introduce myself.  I have just inherited a 1997 Valk and i have much to learn about this big bike and how to fix/maintain it properly.  I ran into "JessfromVA" yesterday while riding and we had a great conversation about the Valkyrie and this awesome club he belongs to the VRCC. I came home and joined right away and look forward to meeting and learning from the many experts here in the club.  Someday i hope to ride along side of you.

Welcome aboard sequoia,,  there is a lot of good information, experience and expertise on this site pertaining to the Valkyrie and life in general.

Like walking into any new establishment, take a look around and get an idea of whats what, you will certainly get answers to your questions here..... some better than others.

Welcome

Welcome!

The general board is an open topic board, kind of like an ongoing get-together.  The tech board is a great resource for all your repair and maintenance issues.

Welcome aboard, I'm sure Jess gave you plenty of insight into this great group. As for posting pictures, get a free account with something like Photobucket. You can load your pictures to that site, then with a couple clicks can post a link from there to this site. No resizing is needed.

When you post a reply, up above the comment box are two lines of white squares.

The first box on the left is the "insert photo" box.
If you click on it you'll see two sets of brackets. In the left bracket it will say IMG in the right /IMG. The cursor will be blinking in between them. It's waiting for you to post the URL of an image.

In order to get the url of an image go to either Imgur or Photobucket, load the image you want, then read their instructions on how to copy images--in photobucket you click on the picture, when it comes up big, click on the button to the right that says, "direct." It will go yellow and say "copied."

Then come back to the forum, make sure your cursor is still between the 'img' brackets and hit ctrl-v.

Viola! Pick in the message.
