Bring it on. It's been awhile since Tom's been to my house and even longer since Magoo has been here. Watcha hungry for? :cooldude:

You better re-read that Damon, Magoo was suggesting InZane at your place... Kim might have something to say about that!!

The time of year for Inzane XIV was great for me. So having it the same week is going to fit my schedule just fine.
It's a long haul from SW Fl. , 2200 miles any way you cut it. I'd love to do it as I've never seen that area. We'll see as the time gets closer.

Thanks for the early heads up.

Ashville is to crazy I like places that are a little more laid back. Ashville was a nice chunck of land but going through the Smoky Mtn. National Park was actually a lot cooler and without heavy traffic. No fun lookin around if you have to fight traffic.

Thanks for getting the dates out there early for planning purposes.

Since you can't please everybody on the location, just keep moving it around so the same people aren't being "disadvantaged" from one year to the next. Personally, I like new places rather than repeats anyway because I like new experiences.

You guys do a heck of a job. Thanks for your many hours of service. I don't think we are a big enough club (active members) to support two (East and West) events.  Moreover, that is too much to ask of the staff. Besides, if you did figure out a way to make everybody happy we'd have to send you to Washington.  They need the help more than the VRCC.

Agreed.    I sincerely appreciate advance information.   Travel time is a big deal.    I only have so much vacation and knowing where helps determine if I can go.    Reference Washington DC, I'm afraid it's too late.

We're making a little headway in SD.  They are bending a little on the function space fees.  I think we've beat them down as far as we can on room rates.  We're working on power to the parking lot.  I found a park that we can reserve for early bird festivities; it's 2.8 miles from the hotel with charcoal grills and a pretty big picnic area.  We will be going for the site visit July 22-25.  Even if we get everything worked out, we won't sign a contract before doing the site visit.

Hey F6gal, I can't help but notice that Idaho is the only state in your map that isn't filled in! Why you no like us?    ???
Hey, just wanted to say (for real) that I really appreciate the effort you all extend to do this thing. Room rates will always be to high, stuff to expensive, too far away, to hard to get to, too hot, too cold, wrong time etc, etc, etc. I know that these things are hard to put together, I do it for my team. I can't imagine the difficulty for trying for a group this size! Hope you make it over to "the last state" someday. Be sure and look us up!

One lonely curve?  I will tell you from my experience we have a lot more curves in Eastern Kansas than you have in the whole state of Iowa.

As Willow pointed out, you're not the only state.  But, hopefully after June 2015, only that one other state will remain.

Willow is right, ditto on east Kansas, actually the pic I posted is the longest straight as an arrow Kansas road I know of, and it ain't in eastern Kansas. It's about a 40 mile stretch of two lane blacktop. Smooth as glass for a top end check.  125 at redline, BTW.   Hoser   :o

Well, I'll admit I haven't ridden the entire state of Iowa,  I was raised in Eastern Kansas and can attest to some good riding back there.    But, I have to say, Kentucky smokes both of them.   ;)

I been following the tread on the plans for InZane. As the fearless leader of the SoCal chapter I will work hard to get as many from California to attend if it's in SD. We had a pretty good attendance when it was in Colorado. I've never been to SD and I know it would be some great riding. I may also go to Sturgis next year as well if I can swing both.

We are indeed in SD, we got in about 1600 yesterday.  We haven't met with anyone yet, but so far the lay-out and accommodations seem perfect.  We will be meeting with the hotel rep and parks department today, CoC and PD tomorrow.   So, we should know tomorrow if all can be worked out.
