I always liked his Tabaco Road rendition... Never got to see him on stage but did get to see his brother Edgar in the Quad Cities on a River Boat on the Mighty Mississip! Good show.

Dang what a shame. I never got to see him either but the first indoor concert I went to was his brother Edgar doing the Frankenstein tour. I think Edgar and Johnny started playing roadhouses in Texas when they were very young.

Johnny's "Still Alive And Well" was a great album I still listen to.
