Thinking about a good pair of sunglasses. Anyone have experience with Crizal lenses  ? Wondering if they are worth it.

I am on my second pair.  I really like them, but they do add a buck or two to the price...Jim :)

Ive always used Crizal on my prescription glasses.  They help on glare and they don't scratch easily.

OK, thanks guys. Maybe I'll break down and get a good pair of sunglasses. I'm getting tired of cheap glasses with stick on cheaters.

I have Crizal lenses in all 3 of my glasses, sun glasses, no line progressive and lined bifocal. I was given a 2 year warranty on all 3 pair of glasses because of the Crizal lenses. I wear on pair for work and they lasted over a year with no scratches. I ran into the corner of a card board box and scratched the lense, deep. There pretty tough and cuts down on the glare. I would spend the extra cash and get them.

I hate to be the bad apple here but I had them and liked them for about 9 months.  I brought them back to the optician  and showed the scratches and said it's very difficult to keep the smudges off.
She told me Crizal doesn't warrant anything like that.     BS watch their ads.
I still go to the same optician but when he gave me a new prescription and I ordered on line.
Still have transitions, no line bi-focals with a protective coating.
I saved over $300

High index and polycarbonate lenses are warranted
against scratching for one year, and
peeling for two years from the original date of purchase
—one replacement per original invoice.

But individual opticians are free to do more or less

You may need a new optician saddlesore, or google the warranty like I just did
