Well being an Old Fart has its advantages.  I popped into Spring Creek Motocross Park last Sunday just to see what it looked like.   I remember it from 40+ years ago when it just got started.  Now it's part of the pro motocross circuit and draws riders from all over the world.  The gal at the entry indicated that I needed a general admission band.  She looked at my face and said that "she did not want to insult me but if I was over 55 I could get in free".  I told her "if she thought I was 55, it would not be an insult, it would be a real boost, I'm 70".

One advantage to being an old fart, I get the senior discount at the golf course but have to show my ID most of the time since the kids behind the desk think you need a wheelchair and oxygen tent to be a senior. Funny thing is, my usual golf partner is younger than I by 5 years and they automatically give him the discount even though he doesn't qualify.   ???
