99 IS Front fender trim

I am looking to add the front fender trim guard on my IS 99. I like the M/C 660-13 the curved one.
But the documentation says it will not fit the IS. I have seen several pics of bikes with this trim installed on IS.
Front fender assy of standard,tourer and IS all appear to be the same. I would imagine the M/C would fit.
I do not want to drill the fiberglass so looking for bolt on.
Does anyone have an IS with front fender trim?
What brand is it?
Looking for NIB.

I have an IS with the MC Enterprises front fender guard (with V in front).  It came on the bike, so I do not know if there was any finagling to install, doesn't look like more than a straight bolt on to me.

Just guessing, but the warning could be because of the big blob of chrome on the IS front fender.... it's very close to the guard, but does not touch.  If it did touch, the blob on double sided tape could just be moved back a quarter inch (or thrown away).  This is the only difference from std/tourer front fender I am aware of.

The I/S fender has the safety reflectors on the fender.
I'm looking at the above photo. If  you want that one, you might have to relocate the reflectors.
The original HONDALINE is designed to fit the I/S without alterations.

Bingo Paxton.  

My PO pointed out that the front fender reflectors had been removed and turned vertical on the fender.  He did not say why it had been done.  Mine are vertical and just fit between the fender guard and the fork rock guards.  I just went out to look, and can see that the horizontal reflectors would be in the way of the guard.  It will be easier to move the reflectors than the blob.  

I had the right idea, just the wrong part.

The front reflectors on the std/tourer are on the radiator, where the pods are on the IS.

And BTW, the MCE fender guard is one of the few (only) aftermarket parts that look better than the Honda OE add-on parts.  IMHO

Funny;
As you point out, my standard came with the reflectors on the side of the radiator.
Somehow the right-side one is missing.

However, I had replaced my Standard front fender with an I/S fender, reflectors and all.
So, I think I am going to remove the fender trim from the I/S and install it on the Standard.

Meanwhile, I'll remove the reflector(s) from the Standard's radiator for a "cleaner" look.

Does anyone know if this front fender rail will fit an Interstate? My Interstate has a clean fender (no reflectors). The bike fitment chart says that it will fit a 97-2003 valkyrie.

It should, that is the one we have been discussing (MC 660-13), the one in the photo, and the one on my IS (with relocated reflectors).

At the least, it should fit ALL Valkyries without fender reflectors. That one might fit all.

I ended up buying the 660-13.
I will modify it to fit. I have pics of bikes with and without reflector in place.
I also bought the saddlebag guard rails , put oem seat back -on and bought the grab strap.
Looking into the Custom World 01-161 driver back rest.
