screwing a goat gets 748 hits, veterans suicide gets 75, guess that shows where folks hearts are at.

BUNCHA SICK BASTARDS IN THE WORLD. UNAPPRECIATETIVE OF THE PEOPLE THAT GAVE FOR THEIR CONTRY! WE ARE SURE OK WITH TAKING THE PERKS OF WHAT WAS FOUGHT FOR BUT TURN OUR BACKS IF IT TAKES ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE CAKE AND COOKIES WORLD PEOPLE HAVE BECOME ACUSTOMED TO.
WE NEED TO PUT GOD BACK IN  THE LIVES WE LEAD AND TAKE THE B.S. OUT!!!!
Just my opinion.
BTW, Thanks to allthat served and gave me the right to this rant.
GOD bless you.

the two are not comparable.

i don't need to click on a 'veteran suicide' video.  I am fully aware of the statistics affecting my fellow veterans, i don't need a video to reaffirm that.

I don't need to click  on a 'drone captures goat f**king' video...but I did anyway out of curiosity.

While I clicked both links and watched the video, People come here for motorcycles. Its the same as the church tithes statistics say that 3 percent of the people who attend church actually tithe. In this country we have a lot of bad news lately and it can get pretty overwhelming. Some are stretched to the their limits so I am not surprised. Its not uncaring its people feel overwhelmed and cannot really offer any help and want to find something to give them some peace. Robin Williams was a example of exactly this idea. If more would get involved then this country would not be in such a mess either. So I thank you for the video but don't be hard on people and don't expect people to jump at what concerns you. Good cause or not! There are plenty of good causes that you have passed up so would people say the same about you? Each on this board, I'm pretty sure helps a good cause, just maybe not yours but that does not make them less caring unless you could say that about yourself to their causes.

Let me tell you a story of another side of the military. They have been trying to take God out of the military even have a atheist dictating some policies. So when hope through Christ was a help in the past, now in political correctness its being taken away.
My nephew is a military Chaplin filled with the spirit and new in the field he is as good a man/boy as it gets. He had to hold services for new men and those in training. Well he had many saved, even some baptisms and one of the best helpers/converts he had was a atheist. They had never had so many come to Christ in a service and even did not want to baptize these men, but eventually did. Christ=hope regardless of what you believe give them something to hope for. To be aware of a issue is one thing to have something tangible and a way to go is another. Life goes on and when good encouragement stops they have to find something to hold on to.

I personally believe the government and society is to blame for the suicides. We have become a broken society, broken rules, broken morals, broken people, broken government. So when people enlist and are looking for direction and not finding it I wonder if it was the last hope they had.
"Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that."

I'm not sure it does show where folks' hearts are.  Hit counts don't tell us whether it was seven people at a hundred times each or seven hundred people for once each.  The two posts you compared are several days different in age.  They do have very different titles.  Sometimes a title will spur enough curiosity in people to cause them to open a post or thread.

I did read both threads and I watch both videos in their entirety.  Honestly I probably contributed to your observation.  The video of Bill Whittle speaking required no repeat or clarification for me.  Honestly, he wasn't really speaking so much about suicides among the military but spent much of the time on depression in general.  Reading some of the reply posts on the goat thread caused me to go back and review the video to see whether what was said was accurate.  Truly I couldn't make out whether the goat was goat, sheep, or dog.  I'm sure my activity on the thread added to the count disparity you noticed.

I'm not sure whether or not your observation on hit counts indicates where folks' hearts are.  What really matters is what we will individually do about it if it is.  Where is my own heart?  What will I do to assist the changing of someone else's heart?  Am I surprised that the population at large is basically self centered and holds evil values?

That's too many questions for me,  I'm going to have to go off and think for a while.  I'm sorry for those fellows who feel they need to masturbate using a helpless animal.  I really don't know what religion they practice or how it does or doesn't contribute.  I'm really sorry that people who have served my country choose to take their own lives.  I'm not sure what religion they practice or how it does or doesn't contribute.  I am concerned for what I can do to help, the servicemen not the goat.

I've too many questions to consider for the moment.  I'm going to have to step away from the keyboard for awhile.

sadly, people know suicides occur and it often is upsetting
people can't comprehend someone is sick enough to screw a goat and need to see it to believe it
take personal responsibility and keep your word

My gosh. It was meant as a sick joke about the curiosity of our society.

Besides, I kinda think anyone sticking their 'thing' into anything is a form of sex. To say it isn't is how muslims [ or bill clinton] think, and, I don't think much of how they think.

We all should know already about military suicide. We just don't know what our military is doing about it. It's a real problem and everyone should have known about it for years.

I guess some people would rather read political posts.         :coolsmiley:   ;)
