I saw a similiar setup like that in Louisiana on one of my cross country jaunts.

It was a old 550 four, and it cruised with ease at 60 to 70 MPH.

The chair had Air-Ride bladders, and it would go down to 3" off the ground, then raise back up to riding height.

Saw it in a parking lot, parked went in a saw this guy in an electric chair.

Asked him if that was his rig, he said yes, so I asked to join him for breakfast.

He told me all about his chair.

Some bike builder in Texas built it for him as a birthday present.

He had had a bike accident and was paralyzed pretty much everything below the waist.

But he knew how to ride that sucker.      I rode with him for about 400 miles that day.

Used to have his name and address, but the last 2 cards I sent him at Christmas were returned as undeliverable.    Haven't sent one now for about 4 years.
