As just one example, please explain how the billions in weapons we armed England with in two world wars got used against us.

Go back and read what was said and then quote whomever.        I am not happy or celebrating this reporter's death but, that doesn't mean I am going to support sending Marines in to settle a score.

I also wouldn't know where to start here. Selective eradication is hard to do without troops on the ground.

My memory is not the greatest. But didn't we arm the Bosnian Muslims in their war with Serbia ? I don't remember that biting us.

Islam has declared war against us.

Exactly. There are Muslims in every crack and crevice of the world. I don't believe they're ALL bad people. So, how do we 1) find all of the bad ones, and 2) exterminate them without any, or at least acceptable, collateral damage? (and remember, there are many Muslims in the US. Is it okay to lose some innocent Americans on American soil in order to exterminate (if they can be found and identified as "bad" Muslims) the bad Muslims in America that pose a threat?

I know. I took that to the very extreme, but it does kind of illustrate how complex this is. It's not like wars of old where the villain is a contiguous land mass that can be targeted.

Colonel knows his enemy and wants to see America survive.  These organizations recruit angry young men to kill and die, and promise their loved ones will be taken care of when they do so.  What if their loved ones and their goats also die?  That could take some wind from their sails.

Tony, that's what makes us vulnerable and will ultimately be our demise.  The truth is so unacceptable to us that we just can't believe it.

There are truly followers of every religion that ar more social than devoted to the teachings of the religion.  That's true of Christians; it's true of muslims; and it's likely true of Bhudists. The most devoted and true followers of the teachings of Islam are indeed the very people we choose to label as extremists.  The social or more mild muslims don't necessarily do what the devoted do in their killing and jihads, but they do recognize that the teachings of Islam call for those actions.

One thing that makes it so difficult for us to deal with muslims is that their religion teaches that honesty is not required with infidels.  That is to say that to you and me as non-muslims it is okay to lie in conversation or even to falsely commit to treaties and political agreements.

The statement that when it comes down to a hard line choice a muslim's loyalty is with other muslims rather than with the U.S. of A. is absolutely accurate.  The only real peace to be achieved with Islam is to become muslim.  Any other pursuit of peace is temporary at best.
