I'm almost always watching, BF, but I'm not sure what pictures of manikins has to do with me.

If I seem a little thin skinned about following the rules, I'll give you a little background to why.

It doesn't cost a lot of money to provide the services the VRCC offers, but it adds up.  We don't pay much for the two websites we make available,but more than we should.  We pay an accountant about a thousand dollars per year and we pay regular fees to banks and organization for the handling of money.

A few years ago we received about thirty-six hundred dollars per year as a result of displaying Google ads.  Google used the of some nudity that was posted on our board to discontinue that income.  Now I'm smart enough to know that as deeply as they had to look that wasn't the real reason.  However, I also don't understand why they should have found it.  Truthfully in less than five seconds on the internet I can find places, if I want to, that do a very complete job of displaying naked female forms.  Does someone really believe that some of our members are so stupid that they won't be able to see naked women unless they're posted on this board?  I don't. 

It cost us what we were using to pay for the expenses of providing the board.  My partners within the VRCC staff have not put forth the effort to replace that income, so the only piece that's left to pay for it is what gets provided at InZane.  If that dries up we're done.

Surely would have been easier if folks would have come here to interact with their Valkyrie friends and simply went to the myriad pornography sites to get their pictures (and videos) of naked women.

I think the real reason Google ads dumped us is the links provided to certain Stanley Steamer videos... and I'm not talking about night-time rides up and down US129!  They're not quite as prevalent on the web, and for good reason; there are only a select few who would click on those links more than once!

I know funding is an issue, but I think most members here get a lot of valuable info for free here and wouldn't mind supporting the site.  

No one pays dues here, and I don't think they should, however, perhaps a VRCC Paypal account could be set up for volunteer contributions.  

A shout-out from time to time would most likely go a long way to fill the pot.  

I know I'd be more than happy to throw a twenty in the pot every once in a while.
