A little bit last minute, but a ride is planned to go to this place....http://redsrestaurantinc.com/ on Saturday. This is the menu http://www.urbanspoon.com/cities/244-ocala/restaurants/1504693-red-s-restaurant/menu

If you would like to be one of the lucky ones to experience this fine establishment, we will be at the usual morning locations... McDonald's/7-11 (I think on 41) and the Hess in Brooksville or just meet us there.

Hope to see you...

Jaymi

billyboy

Jack, isn't Brooksville sorta out of the way from where you are? I'd just go up 429 to the t'pike, to I75, to exit 341 at SR 484 and hang a left. If I show up it will be in the car. The heat index is projected to be near 112 in the Hernando area.

Yea, that is the straight and shortest way to go  ;D

Still might end up going that way but I feel like a group ride with other Valks so I'll take the longer way on the way in and the shortest way on the way back.

Plus, I missed all the fun last time when this guys rode the dirt road     :2funny: :2funny:
Sorry Jaymi, I could not resist

Plus I hear that Jaymi might kick Billy's behind for some previous comments  :2funny:

Man, I am on a roll, I better quit  ;D

Hope to see you there John  :cooldude:

Pappy!

That's okay, Jack....keep right on going, takes the heat off me for a change.

billyboy

Jack your killing me dude.  What did I do?   :uglystupid2:  Be good to see you again.  Ho!

Just who is number one on that list?  I suspect Billy is, but it might be the other guy that rides a Valk.

:cooldude:  Another good call Ilean Jaymi. Oh thats Gil's fault...I'm not getting on that list!
Really a great gathering; as are all of our get togethers.
Needed a boat the last few miles toward home, but the rain felt nice after the high temps today.
Can't say enough about our group, all first class folks.
Roger,  you know we do have fun down here!  Bring some cool weather down with you!
Once again, those who couldn't attend were missed; and talked about...always in kindness of our extended family.
Ride safe and see ya down the road.

I still miss her.

IamGCW

Roger
You were missed.

Jerry and Sherry are talking about a Pizza meet mid-October.  Think you'll be around?

Jaymi sure makes good selections.  Thanks again.  Bert showing up was a pleasant surprise.  Eddie had his new seat on the F6B.  Very nice.  Jack sure keeps his ride looking sharp, even with the new diaper on it.    James had on his aux tank, I think he may be planning on making a run for it. :-X

Till our next ride

Another great lunch ride, a little warm but worth it.

Jaymi picked another excellent place, Thank you Jaymi  :cooldude:

I left home at 8am and made it to the Hess in Brooksville at 9:30, it was really nice weather riding in, not too hot yet.
The rest of the gang got there soon after. James led the group, Jaymi, Billy, Gil and Crystal.
We talked for a while and then James led us to Reds Restaurant.
As we were on our route to the restaurant, around Inverness, we happen to go by a gas station as Greg, Sandy, Frank and one more rider  ( sorry forgot name  :tickedoff:) were ready to get on the road we were on.
So they joined us for the rest of the way, we could not have planned it better.  :cooldude:

Got to Reds and Pappy, Frank ( Frank's son), Eddie and Kim, and Bert and his nephew arrived after.
A total of 16 Valcoholics.

Got home at 4:30. Caught some heavy rain for about 2 miles as I was 5 miles from home  :tickedoff:

Great food and great company  :cooldude:

The ladies were out in force today to give Jaymi some back up. Kim, Sandy and Crystal, it was great seeing you ladies again.

James, thanks for leading us  :cooldude:

Gil, about the diaper thing, you know what they say about paybacks

Here are the mandatory pics of today's ride.

Here we are, waiting for our number to be called. Nice front porch with benches.

Can't post pics without the Valks  ;D

Some other riders that were already there when we got to the restaurant.
A couple came over as we were pulling in and they were amazed at seeing that many Valks in one place.
They were asking questions about the club and complimented all of us on our rides.
They have Yamahas and have riden Goldwings as well.

Some of us at the table

I ordered Breakfast and it was gooood.

Some weird guy, who knows what he was trying to do

I know what you mean about the heat, we sure miss having you around.
It will cool down soon and we will get some riding done.

I did not get the pics on here cause I got home and rested for a little bit and then my wife had a Honey Do List that I could not do before since we had been getting rain in the afternoons.

Guess what I was doing until a little while ago ................

YARD WORK !!!!!   :tickedoff: :D ;D

Oh well, you know how it goes, If the wife ain't happy .............

Great call Jaymi {again}!

Looks like that dude in the yellow shirt is taking a selfie(poor camera).  ;D Glad you guys had a good ride, I was reduced to riding herd on my Lazy Boy with ice packs. I didn't do anything and yet the old right leg/hip fired up, had to take a "happy" pill. Almost 11 months now and I'm getting pretty fed up with this. Had fun with Rita's little granddaughter for a couple hours, a ball of energy.

Good pics Jack, sure wish I could have been there with you guys in person instead of in spirit.

We plan on being back the middle of the third week of Oct.  I will be watching the board for any activities as I will be very anxious to join you all.  We don't have much in the way of cool weather to bring down now but should have plenty by Oct.  probably frost before we leave.

Roger, so like the 15th?  Maybe we do sat the 18th or Sunday the 19th, so we are safe to do have our kick tires at the cottage for you to be there? Can't tell if u r counting 1-4 as first week??  Also (everyone) we can leave everything up and have a Saturday and Sunday party.  Roger let us know.

I think that weekend is Biketober weekend.
Don't know if some riders are thinking of going to Daytona, just saying

John Schmidt

Might want to put off the gathering a week, or have it a week prior.

Welcome to Biketoberfest® 2014 - October 16-19, 2014!

Pappy!

Yep...will be heading over and watching the goings on .......

MisStick6

Thank you to everyone who ventured out into the Armpit on Saturday. It was a bigger then expected group, glad you enjoyed the restaurant. As usual it was nice to see Most of you again.  :)

See ya's

Jaymi

Red 3410

You folks sure are a noisy bunch.  Was sitting in Red's having a nice lunch saturday when the place got really loud.  Didn't know why until I walked outside and saw the Flat 6's sitting in the parking lot.  Can you guys keep the noise down next time.  I'm getting old and grouchy as he!!....

Even saw a Valk Tourer with a batwing fairing and funny looking shield.  Thought it was a Harley for a minute.  ;)

Hope everyone enjoyed the 100 degree temps.  I know I did!

TJ

Quite old man....   Good to see you're still around , even if you are riding a HD.....

Hello TJ....
Glad someone uglier than me is still around. Not many handles are familiar to me.  I see you, Fred & Deb, and John Schmidt.

It was about 16 years ago I met with the Valk group for my first Q. That was a few bikes ago! That's back when Red was red.  lol...

Be safe.  Stay away from privacy fences!  :-\

Yep that was me.   :crazy2:  Love the fairing but I just get too many more
waves from Harley riders now.   :-[   Are you the couple we met
when we first showed up?
[/quote]

Am I the couple you met? I'm getting bigger but not large enough for me to be a couple! Never met you but you're trying to insult me?  Man, some peoples children! :-(

Do you have a permit from H-D to run that batwing on a Honda? You might lose cigar privledges if you don't....  8)
