Hello people! :)
QUESTIONS;
1.  Once I remove the Corbin I/S seat, would the standard solo seat fit right into the I/S?
2.  Would the standard passenger seat fit too?
3.  For the fender tail-light replacement, does the Standard's harness plug right into the I/S'?

Have I forgotten something? ??? Thoughts and comments are welcome. Thanks!

BACKGROUND;
NOT READY but thinking on selling the "Plain Jane" 99' I/S with 76K miles. I love her!
Given the current market I might have to "give her away," tho... :'( :-* :'(
Well, no so fast! ;)

THINKIN' ABOUT ALTERNATIVES;
DO NOT PART her out! The idea is to eventually market a solid running not-so-fat Lady.
She's a rare two-tone color too! :roll:   Yes, strip off her major goodies (i.e. I/S Corbin Seat; Tow Hitch;
OME Saddle Bags and Trunk; Pods and Crash Bars..... etc, etc). :-\
Do not remove the fearing nor the front end....Yada, Yada

So, I think that as a nakid Darkside "Inter-Standard" I could do a faster sale. ;)

Incidentally, this is all taking place at my Sister's Garage in New Haven, Conn. The I/S is stored there.
I'm flying in on 16 September.
I'll be paying for help at the rate of 4 beers per hour! :evil: :2funny:

Paxton, this is my 2000 I/S with a tourer seats, the seats are Russell Day Longs, they  fit just fine and will except a backrest from Russell...I always liked the look of that seat on the Interstate.

Pretty much "Yes" to all your questions.....

Only I think you may have to do some work on the pigtail for the taillight....

Plus if you do the supervalk mod you can drop the trunk back on in minutes... My trunk hangs on the wall and I can have it back ob in like 5-10 min... I will often take it off on trips and leave it in the hotel room for day trips in the same area.. thats what I did at Inzane this year.... warning.. it is a bit heavy and akward, but I like the way the bike feels without it.

Below is my bike with a newer standard seat on...

I wired/spliced the taillight Harness directly into the excising tailight harness so I could keep the plug free to plug the trunk lights back in.... wasn't that hard.... I think the wires match..maybe... as it has been a few years since I did it....
