Is that a Lynx cross?  I believe they have large paws for running on top of snow.

we had a stray (incredibly loving, dumb as a bag of hammers :roll:) she had 6 toes on each foot.

she passed away about 5 years ago I miss her, I've got a few pics of her paws around though  :cooldude:

Not sure. Maine Coon is listed as a native American species...

Pierre (in the pic) has 7 toes on each front foot (thumbs!) and 6 on each back...

is your maine coon a smart alec? my daughter had one that would play a joke on us constantly. she would walk into the livingroom we would be watching TV and she would stare at a point on the wall. there was nothing there, but she would stare and stare.....until one of us got up and said "what Fluffy?" and went and looked. everytime we would turn back around to look at her and she would suddenly be grooming her paws, snickering!

yeah, we named a big hairy cat "fluffy"  :coolsmiley:
