Just like I figured, the new 2015 F6B gets cruise control along with some new colors for both the F6B and the full Goldwings. Pretty cool.

i could go for the yellow one   :cooldude:

Don't know that the yellow one is back for 2015. I'm sure a yellow one probably could be found. The colors on the link show a gray and black and a blue and black. The addition of cruise is a big deal for many. I thought and said if they'd bring it back that it would have cruise and I've heard reverse as well. I weighed these possibilities when I bought mine, but I got a really good deal on mine so not really complaining.   $15651 brand new with $1000 accessories.
Now, though, I am looking at a couple of add on cruise control options.  I've never had a bike with electronic cruise though, so not high on my priority list.

Out west here I love my cruise control. First bike with it, I've always just had a throttle lock. But if your riding areas are not wide open it may not be that big of a deal. :cooldude:

I like the Gray F6B :cooldude:
I guess we can stop hoping for a big change for the "40th Anniversary Goldwing"   :(

It's hard to believe it's been 40 years :coolsmiley:

That red and Black just may be my next ride.

The cruise control is of course welcome, it was pretty much demanded.  I wonder about the narrower body work, how much narrower.  I believe the F6B had been the same as the Gold Wing is this regard.

I have never cared for red anything, but that Red & Black Wing is very sharp. Now what if it was available in the Gray & Black like the F6B?
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

I've always liked the wings, I owned a 76, a 90, and a 95. then bought a 2006, I wasn't real happy at the non adjustability of things like the handlebars, but a 48 mpg I wasn't complaining much. then the past few years they started painting and badging them to look like a BMW coming down the road and I lost all love for them. the 1500 wings were the last of the good ones in my mind.

Cool! Black exhaust!
What this means is there will be some good deals on nice stock, quiet 2015 black take offs available when new owners go to aftermarket exhaust.  :cooldude:

I've had a 84, 95, and 05 Goldwings.  Liked each one.  The 1500 had the nicest ride but for 2-up riding pulling a trailer the 1800 has awesome power.  Like riding my Valkyrie Interstates better than any of the Goldwings when riding by myself.  I've not been real impressed with the new F6B or Goldwing.  Test drove both this year and did not like either more than my 05.  Test drove the new Valkyrie and was real impressed with driving it.  Looks funny but sure rides nice.  I'd love to see them put a detatchable trunk on the Goldwing and open up some of the plastic.  Some type of a Fairing remodel that doesn't surround you with so much plastic might give me a reason to look at buying a newer Wing.

Dan,
I agree with just about everything you posted.   I have no doubt the new Valkyrie and F6B will out perform my 02 Valkyrie but, every time I think I should consider one, I take a look and just don't like what I see.     It's a personal thing, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they just aren't something I like.

That is the story of my life. I just got my mc cruise in the mail and will see if I
Can get it installed. I did get a great deal on my bike so it still is a great bike.
     I love my F6B

I'm looking at that or the Rostra option. What , did you end up paying for the MC Cruise?. I knoe the Rostra is a lot less money, but the more plug and play aspect of the Mc Cruise may be the way to go.

I'd like to know how the install goes too! With heated grips and the Kuryakyn Clamshell grips, I can't even put a decent throttle lock on my F6B without taking a chance on destroying the heated part (that I know of anyway).

When one comes out with air conditioning, then I might be looking. I could use that.

I concur as well on the red/black combo especially with blacked out exhaust all blends in and looks very tough, not all fancy smanshy as all chrome which I also like.

I guess in 20 more years when my Valk clunks out I can think of buying a good used low mileage 2015 Wing now.

I still don't think HOnda is doing much to move product.  I know it is hard to improve on the awesome tranny and V6 engine and all, but what about something smart like an electronic up/down windshield fully adjustable say 2-3" for us shorter or taller riders?  How hard would that be, NOT really, since BMW has it on their 1600 tourer.  Reverse in the F6B would be a smart move as well something the idiot engineers left off on the F6B and finally got smart now and added cruise control which should be standard without question.
