I talked to Miss Reba today and we have a complete sell out at ground zero ( The Phillips Motel ) . All rooms , cottage's and house's are all us. If you have reservations and cannot make the ride please call or PM me through the VRCC website . Do not call Miss Reba to cancel I have folks wanting to come that can't get a room. Let me know if you DO NOT plan to make it and I will deal with getting one of " us " in .... Thanks

I can get you hooked up with a room in a house Allan ( Punisher ) has at ground zero. It's a three bedroom with two bath's. Punisher and his lady friend has one room , Dave Weaver and his wife has one room.... Let me know and I can get you into a very nice place to stay at ground zero.

Ride in on Friday Oct.17.... Group Ride Saturday Oct 18.... Head for home Oct.19... I don't promote this ride cause I don't need to we sell out next year before we leave this year. I'm thinking this is year # 10 for this ride. Your best bet for a room would be the San-Ran in Robbinsville,NC  its within walking distance of ground zero.

Only Excitement on here is when a Valkyrie Hydro Locks or strips a pinion cup, or won't start due

to a dirty starter switch, or runs out of bearing life on the rear wheel in 10,000 miles.

Or maybe when 1 of you real riders, out run a Sportster in a Drag Race. Too much excitement for a

retired guy.

Look forward to this ride every year. Take a week off prior to the weekend and go to the Fatherinlaws cabin just outside of Spruce Pine / Burnsville N. C. area.



Then over to Robbinsville for a great time with a bunch of Valk-a-holics.



These two truly live in great riding country. Looking forward to it my friends - CAN'T WAIT !!!

Hwy 226A at Little Switzerland has been repaved. Bit gravelly in some of the bends.

Hwy 194 from W Jefferson to Boone has been repaved

You need to find out asap if he will work for you the 3rd weekend in Oct. all rooms at every motel are full with tree people. I can get you hooked up at ground zero right now with a split the cost that is if you don't snore.

Just did Diamondback and Devil's Whip (NC 80).

I LOVED NC 80!!  Moderate traffic and no cops.

Amazing run downhill from the BRP.

Called San Ran Motel and booked a room for Trish and I.  Thought work would keep us from attending again this year, but it has been worked out.  Looking forward to this ride.  We have not been able to attend in the past.  We would be interested in a room at ground zero if there is a cancellation.
