What makes you guys think he wasn't badly injured?  He wasn't shown walking away at the end, and who knows what internal injuries he sustained.  He hit pretty hard.

I actually did a similar thing on a snowmobile.....

I hit a telephone pole and went over the front of the sled....

Most of the damage I had was from my legs hitting the handlebars and dash of the sled....

Course' flying thru the air for about 40 feet didn't help either.... ;)

Over my 50 years of riding I've walked away from two accidents where I was catapulted over the trunk of a car and landed on my feet without injury. I learned a lot from those two and hope to never repeat them; but hope I can if called upon to do so!

When I was 13 or so, I was out riding my 1982 Honda ATC 185S three wheeler. It was out in the country and I had ridden it over to a friends house. It got dark and really foggy. You literally could not see a few feet in front of you. In my youth and poor judgement, I went across a 4 lane divided highway. Highway 52, just Southeast of Fowler,IN. I made it across all four lanes to find the world drop out from underneath me. I rode right across and missed the road I was aiming for (Dense fog) and right into a 6 foot drop off for a ditch. :o I ,remarkably wasn't hurt, and neither was my 3 wheeler. I was able to get out of the ditch and ride home. I had those old school leather motocross boots with the metal shin guards and metal along the toe. The metal strip on the toe was ripped off. It was good I had those boots on.
