Hello all,
I want to add these to my IS. But Kuryakan says for Tourer or standard only.
Are we cutting these down or is there adifferent part no.
It's got to be the goin not the gettin there that's good!

They used to make shorter sets for the Interstate. You can definitely cut down a longer set to fit. When sitting on the bike the left side is cut off thru where the front plug wire goes. The right side is lots shorter and cuts off in the middle of the middle intake tube. The right side does not fit under the pod but the left side does fit under  the pod.

There was a comparable set made by Kuryakyn for the I/S that featured some mods to accommodate the radiator pods.  Like most Valkyrie accessories, I suspect they're simply getting harder to find.  (Sorry, I don't have the part number).  Terry

I have a 2000 interstate and the ones for the tourer fit fine. i just needed to remove the pods to install them and then re-install the pods. They fit mine no problem. My set runs the full length of the engine and covers all 6 plugs. The only change is you have to take the pods off to install them and then re-install the pods when finished.

Six Guns

I used the ones for the standard and tourer on my interstate. Fits fine. No problem. No modification needed.   :cooldude:

They will work, but the lower pod snap in mount will not fully engage .....

But you really don't notice it.. I have had mine on for a couple of years....
