29 days ago the dr was supposed to just cut a torn meniscus

But he added for "No extra charge " scraping out arthritis and grinding bone
that was causing me no trouble I could feel

Rehab as many of you know is just something ya gotta do and not gripe so I have
been full tilt, worked the 1st business day after surgery which was friday at 1pm

Now last week I did ride the police bike about 5 miles but today I got to make
a trip to Bear Mtn bridge and 4 passes (up and down twice ) on the goat trail  Wore my knee armor
under the diamond gusset and I was ATGATT today.

Pic of me at the overlook, I was trying not to look so happy but you know how it is
when you are riding a Valkyrie in the wind...........  and no speed appreciation awards !

My Valk hasn't moved since the end of May/first of June.

I still haven't gotten back on mine since my surgery....however, I'm thinking about a test ride next week.

We'll see how it goes.

glad you feel up to riding finally.  I too had a severely torn miniscus on my inner knee that I let go 10 months thinking I would heel up.  I had no idea how it happened just woke up one morning while on vacation up north no less and could hardly walk.   I am guessing I did it that day while lifting the deep cycle battery out of the rented fishing boat and twisted the wrong way while lifting the battery.

Anyways,  my 30 minute surgery went well but was in severe pain for 2 days after couldn't put hardly any weight on the leg but took near 30 days such as yourself before I felt strong enough to hold up the Valk.  Boy, it did feel good to get back in the wind such as you did.
Dr. said I tore it pretty bad cut a lot out plus was only age 40 getting arthritis which he said was common to start around that age darn it.  Dr. couldn't believe I let it go that long before being seen.

Just be careful the next few months and don't overdue it again since the worst is over but still needs time to heel.  That means quit chasing those lovely young gals/nurses all over the place.  :2funny:

When you don't know the cause you call it a sex injury.

Good news.  :cooldude:  I was wondering the other day how the procedure went and the follow up therapy.
