Well got my cruise control installed and I have to tell you, if I can do it anybody can.
A truly plug and play.
I have to admit I help from a man over on the F6B site.
Thank God he knew how to remove all the bodywork that you need to.
It works as well as the cruise in my car, road rt 81 for 400 miles 500 miles in all
and it sure made things a lot better on the highway.
Now all I have to do is find some kind of highway pegs to put my
short legs on.

Can you tell me where you got it and what year your Valk is?    Arthritic hands... would love to add it to my  2001 Interstate.

You can go to their web site at mccruise.com.
They are in Australia, but it only took about 5 days to
get it from them. i had installed it on a 1999 Interstate
years ago and just did the install on my new F6B.
Their instructions and help with question are just great.
It is a bit pricy but you will be very happy.

10-04 on the pricey, and it is very good equipment.

I got one for Christmas in 1998, and haven't had an ounce of trouble with it in over 190K+ miles.

I've never had to service it since it was installed.

I put it on in my home rear garage the day after Christmas in like 3 hours.

That included reading about 50 pages of instructions twice.

1 time to see what I was getting into and the 2nd time as I was installing it following each step.

Remember, when the say EARTH, they are referring to a ground wire or strap.

How does the mc Cruise control deal with brake application?  Is it smart enough to release the throttle?

Hit your brake and it,s off.
One thing, you can,t use led lights in the rear
because of the resistance.

Valks have LEDs front, rear and side by side. I guess F6B,s don't have led's?

I use Go Cruise, 2 seconds to install, works great, $20 - $30.

I was talking about the first version of our Valks not the new ones.

I was really hell bent on getting the MC Cruise for my new valk when I first got it, but I have a cramp buster on and a throttle lock, and they work fine for most times.  I will eventually get one but maybe in a couple of years.  Other stuff are upmost on the list, like Corbin seat and bags.

If global warming is happening...why is it so cold up here?

Last time I talked with the guys in Australia where the mc cruise in made they
were Still working on the kit for the Volk(the new one).  But I have to tell ya
their kit is great. It is truly plug and play.
