Things I saw along the way

I took a trip to Hiram, Ga. last week to visit with the grand kids.  I try to take a different route each time I go.
This big blue chopper sits along 19,129 in Andrews, NC.  Pictures of it have been posted before but one more time
can't hurt.

On the way back I did a little exploring.  First was Carters Lake off 136 near Oakman, Ga.
Saw an Eagle when I pulled into the parking lot.  Not enough time to get the camera.

Next stop was Fields of Wood,  I had never been there before.  Someone said there was 358 steps
to the top.  Needless to say I did not count them.

Next stop was Hiwassee Dam.  First time there to.  In the photo you can see a hillbilly highrise
being taken across the dam.  I think they call them Tarheel Chalets in NC.

I rode 68 from Copperhill, Tn. to Tellico Plains.  A very good ride if you are ever in the area.
Took the Cherohala Skyway to Robbinsville, NC.
I saw an 18 wheeler on 129 right at the state line with a problem.
His problem was that he only had 13 wheels on the ground.  The trailer was off the road,
and had the tractor twisted with the left side wheels off the ground.  Just enough room for a
motorcycle to pass.
About 3 miles north there was a pick up truck pulling  a crotch rocket out of the woods.

Last picture was along the Foothills Pkwy.  Had a good visit and a good ride.

Time is not what is taken but what remains.

We spent the weekend in Tellico Plains about a month ago. Saw the big chopper, Fields of the Wood, and lots of scenery along the way. Good riding country in that area. I liked your pictures Terry.
