It's possible we'll hit or be very close to peak the 3rd weekend in Oct.

Plannin' to take Sugar to Waterrock Knob, Devil's Courthouse & Graveyard Fields on the BRP this weekend. (Most of this is up 5000'+. If there's any color I'll post some pics.)  Probably run Newfound Gap, swing by Clingmans Dome & maybe Soco Falls between Cherokee & Maggie Valley. Top it all off with a blast through "The Gorge" to get us home.
Damn near flat broke but aint been nowhere in over a month. Goin' ridin' even if I hafta pay for fuel in change!

just have noticed last 2-4 days the oak leaves are already starting to fall which suck for us northerners having to put the bikes up for the season sometime in November before it snows.
