I would have thought the guy could have avoided that bike all together since he was slowing down since saw it coming down the hill well in advance. 

I see more stupid excessive speed on crotch rockets every single year and that is just from local rides on occassion rides is all.  Am sure more and more are out there and are organ donors.

I think the rider did pretty well. I am always checking the mirrors, as well as to the sides of me but I can't remember the last time I looked up for potental problems.

I realize that riding a motorcycle is one of the most exhilarating things I can do in my day to day life....however the cost are the inherent risks that come with riding.
