Weekend Ride?

I'm going to pull out around 0700 and take a quick early Sunday morning ride around Lake Apopka just to enjoy the coolness. I'm going to be thinking about Eddie once in awhile too! Have to be at work by 1100 so it will be a quickie. This would be a great day to ride all day.

I am going to run to Plant City Bikefest Sat eve. Morning is out, helping the wife cook for Prayer breakfast at church, usually don't get done until around 11am.

Great food and then we can go up to High Octane for some tire kicking and cigars

Billy, I'm looking at Brooksville on Streets & Trips, I know where 50 comes in across the city, but don't see 541. Where is it relative to where 50 crosses 45 & 41, or is that where it's located and your fingers screwed up typing the numbers?    As for Luigi's, I don't know if they're open on Sundays.

PS: Think I found it, it's about four miles east of B'ville...correct? Actually about 4 miles east of the 50/98 intersection where 50 drops south around the city.

Try 50 and Spring Lake highway, Hess is at that intersection.

Yep, I had it but used the coord. on Google Earth to double check. I'll have to head out of here about 7:30-7:45 to make it by 9:30. I rode the bike to the gym the last couple times and did OK. Also ran some errands around the area with no repercussions. Been on the bicycle for 6.5 miles twice this last week with no trouble so here's hoping it's on the mend. Not totally OK, but it's getting there, go for the first epidural on the 14th. Definitely want to be able to ride in time for pizza. 

In case it turns out I'm unable to make it, can I phone someone at the Hess to let them know so you don't wait too long? Shoot me a PM with a #.

Penny, You have already met. He's good people. We rode with him to Sleepy Hollow in March this year. He rides a Black St-1300.

Billy, I will check my other gate and see if my bike will fit through it without taking down a section of fence, then I will be a go. My bikes currently in storage in my shed to free up garage space during my remodel. It took me  several hours to get it out there and make room for her. pita

I'll have to think about that one. That gives me a return ride of over 100 miles, not sure the old hip is quite ready for that just yet. Please don't let me change any plans, it won't be long before I'm back in the saddle. I'll wait until in the morning to see how things are going and try calling Billy Boy between 8-8:30 in case I'm not coming.

Had a Great ride as usual, awesome weather and good Mexican food up in San Antonio.
