No didn't you see Titanic when they were on the bow of the ship and it was like they were flying? That is how Joe is there, what a great pic. If I ever needed anyone to promote riding it most definitely would be Joe. That pic just makes you want to get on your bike and ride to the mountains and just stand and let it all go.

When I first saw that pic I thought for sure it was a 'larger than life' statue, then again maybe it was?  Smokin Joe, that is!  cooldude

Anyday is a good ride before the dreaded snow flies in another month or so.  Got out today for a short 50 mile jaunt, had to turn around wife was getting a tad bit chilly on back being upper 40's and VERY windy.  Loaded down with homegrown 20-25lb. bags of potatoes,  4 delicata squash, and a bag of apples from a nearby apple orchard we just found today driving around.  Will have to go back there in 2-3 weeks, weather permitting, to get another 2 bags of apples when we have more room.  They said they just opened up for business last season so I think we just found our 2nd favorite local apple orchard nearby 25 miles.  From the looks of their house and barn, they are either in debt for 100's of thousands or are rich to the tea and don't need the money.

Zestar apples early season are awesome flavor and we just bought now the crimson crisp never had before and they have great flavor!

Thanks Joe.

Robert, you got that right about Joe being the ambassador of riding.

I have ridden with him and got off the bike actually shaking from the adrenelin rush. (That is me behind Joe and Detn8er - who ride like one).

I will always remember his "pre ride talk" before a FCR actually (I think)....he held his throttle hand up and twisted it back and forth and said, "I control my world, you control yours....ride your own ride - Now, let's go do the Dragon!"  Best pre ride briefing I had ever seen.  cooldude Grin cooldude

I often turn at at 10:00 or so... more than once (including this year at the FCR)
I have drifted off to the sound of the sermon out in the parking lot  cooldude
