Yep.... Threaded adapter still requires registration and 200.00 tax stamp and all the paperwork for supressors.   Plus.... It's a bit big and blocks the sights.

I have seen some selling similar items to be used as cleaning fluid sediment traps or the like, claiming no registration.....

i used to make them out of 150 amp fuses with the replaceable links.. when you carry it around its just a fuse, then remove the blades and screw it onto the gun,,quiet as a wisper,, the inside was comprised of a bunch of different size flat washers..
i lost them when the boat sank a few years ago..
