Last time I went out to South Dakota I went by way of Columbus and Indianapolis just to avoid those danger areas

In 2005 Coot and I went this way - if I remember correctly. Nearly 3 full days riding.

Stopped off in a few places to take in the local culture.

You may wanna take the 'scenic route' on 50 & 44 in southern SD. Its mostly 2 lane with some 4 lane but still just as fast and minimal traffic. This along with US 20 and angle up to Storm Lake IA into Vermillion SD will shave off a 100 miles. Or hell take US 20 all the way to 385 in NE and head up.

90 sucks ass as its always windy. The blow you from line to line windy.

Maybe so but please draw a straight line between Clinton and Sturgis and then plot a route.

So much better than droning on the Interstate.

At least do one of the outbound/inbound routes seeing America from two lane roads.

I've been slammed at work since I got back from the FCR. I already requested the Friday for the Veterans Day ride off, just hoping I can afford to take it off.
