When creating posts I try to use the Preview button. It used to work just fine. Not anymore. All I get is "Fetching preview..." Something's broken and it's been this way for at least a week.

I never preview, just post and if its that bad, fix after..........why is it though things look right in the black screen, but in the final version the mistakes are more obvious??

I did not make any changes to this board, for RJ or anyone else.

I'll look into the preview issue.  (incidentally, preview works for me using Google Chrome, on Win7)

It used to work on Win 7 Firefox, but not recently.  It works on iPhone iOS 6 Safari.

Sorry Scott, I misunderstood what you said.

I though you said you renamed some file or something along that area.

Blame RJ as I said earlier, he has broad shoulders.

Plus, his remember isn't up to full bore either.       Cheesy Evil

chrome on an old centos box... no preview...  Sad ...

It is an out-of-date chrome on an out-of-date centos box...

My firefox (which won't preview either) is also too old to update through the distro...

Maybe preview is just busted for those of us who need to upgrade
our OSes and have an up-to-date browser?

I have a brand new computer here that I keep thinking I'm going to take out of the box
and put the latest Fedora on tomorrow, but it keeps not happening  coolsmiley ...

The following from the Temp Board was what i was referring to Scott.

Sorry if I misunderstood your post.

In an attempt to help RJ, I changed the name for the file created when a cookie is saved in your browser from the message board.(this is what remembers that you are logged in)  This will force you to log in again, and likely have to log in a second time.  And even more likely, you'll have to clear the cookies in your browser before you can get back into the board to post. (Forcing yet another login)

Sorry for that, but feel free to blame RJ.

-Scott

I don't know what browser you use, so I can't say for sure how to clear/delete your cookies.  In Chrome, you click on the menu button on the upper right, and go down to "More Tools", then select "Clear browsing Data".
