Are we allowed to tell a story?

I brought a deer from the middle of the lake that was getting ready to drown [ Feb] and got her to shore.

A group of us got some beached Dolphins pointed in the right direction.

I've saved a couple big ass turtles that had gotten tangled up in fishing line and plastic bags. Well, I like to think they turned out all right.

Helped a local farmer/friend pull a cow out of a dug well.

Helped a couple dogs out of poorly set traps.[not mine]

Got a deer and a dog out of a woven wire fence, not at the same time. I then spent a couple days removing that old fence. I always hated that fence.

I think most of us have stepped up and helped when we saw a need.

My biggest regrets are the times I missed an opportunity to help because in too big a hurry, too broke, running too late or just not knowing what to do or say.

Feels good when we do the right thing. Hope I do more often than not.

It was just a few days a go that I was riding my bike out to the country cemetary where my parents were recently buried. I noticed a beautiful black horse that had got her front leg tangled up in the bobwire fence. I was able to locate the owner and we cut the fence and got her free with no injuries. I was sure glad I found her otherwise who knows how long she might have been stuck. I was afraid she was going to get scared and hurt herself trying to get free but we were lucky.
