kickstand pad

Valkyrie bling had some kickstand pads mad a couple years ago and I bought one, I sold that valkyrie and now would like to know if anyone else has had any made, If I remember right some one else made some but they wern't chromed, does any one remember who that was or know of one for sale, Thanks Walt

I'm not sure if the ones I had made are what you are looking for. It was 5" in diameter, made from stainless steel and had a "V" cut in it. He sold the one I gave him at Michigan Inzane.

I have these available.  4" diameter, 14ga steel, unfinished.  If you like them finished - 2 minutes with a can of Krylon will do it.  Cheap, not much of a loss if you forget and leave it. These are recycled from the 5" exhaust process, hence the pierce point on the discs.  5 (you probably will forget at least once) for $20, in the saddlebag, give to friends.  (I have handed out quite a few) $5.95 priority mail for all 5.  Or get 10, all will mail for $5.95.

Funny.  For me, it's about covering the cost of handling / paperwork.  Shop time costs money - while I give plenty of that away with long incoming phone calls and tech support.  BTW I was once a TS engineer at AT&T - my time was billed at $3 a minute.  As  a Sr Engineer at Sybase, my time was sold on contract to a gov't entity at over $1,200,000 / yr. If someone wants to come here and pick them up and I don't have to package and do the paperwork, they can have 5 for free.  I have given many of these away.  The O.P. asked so it occurred to me to mention I have these as a byproduct of the 5" exhaust builds. I note in your humorous post you aren't offering to pack & ship them for free.

BTW do you know where Kingsford charcoal originated?  Hint it was originally named Ford's King charcoal..

I use a beer can or a metal electrical box cover. Only out $0.25 if its stolen.

I have been 'told' that the RIVCO side stand foot for a VTX1800 will work if you do a little grinding on the Valkyrie side stand.  Don't know anymore about it. Here is the link:

Incidentally I welded one of these discs above, to the bottom of my GW sidestand and painted it black - it leans harder with a smaller foot - it's closer to the bike so presses harder.  Looks OK, but more than that, there's no sinking in hot asphalt anymore.

i'm the one who had them made. it been a $$tight year since my crash (haven't been able to work) as soon at i can come up with the dollars i plan on making another run of 3-4 dozen,i will polish those as i now have a 6 hp buffer. will make up some peg lowering kits in stainless also , the left side will be polished.
