That's crazy!
I was surprised to see the police car catch up that fast. His bike was set up for stunts..... Which killed his top speed.

I don't know about killing top speed, he seemed to be going well over 100 mph at times but the cycle who passed him at the end was going much, much faster.

I bet these cop cars nowadays have no problem running 120 mph or more, especially in bigger cities like that one was.

A kid in my class bragged  25+ years ago on how he outrun and lost the local police in my hometown in the 80's with his pontiac fiero, not in a straightaway, but in rural country twisty roads.   It can be done, but not advisable.

In this day, a video camera can easily catch a plate number.  I'm sure COP cars have them behind their windshields.  I have to wonder if he really got away because the COP passed him.
