Hard to tell from the pics, but I wouldn't be surprised. There are plenty of guys that want a bike but don't ride them.

Willow

Yes.

Timing belt cover looks good.

Not much of a rider at all.  His mirrors are turned the wrong way.   :)

:2funny:,very observant didn't notice that. That would be kind of embarrassing to have someone come check out the bike and have to fix your mirrors.

Bighead

Not doubting the mileage but he is a bit proud of it.

Way high priced.  It's gonna need some work.   ???

Scary part is the Honda Oil filter on the bike.  Bad feeling that it may be the original....
Yea though I ride through the valley of the Shadow of Death I shall fear no evil. For I ride the Baddest Mother F$#^er In that valley!

Get him down to a reasonable price & have a brand new '98 Valky. It isn't even due for an oil change yet. I love those low mileage rides, means she's good to go for another 4ook miles!

Hey Carl, maybe he has a narrow doorway into the house.    Sounds like he has it is his bedroom.

i use honda oil filters so that doesn't mean to much cause you'd change the fluids first thing anyways

Tundra

Yes I do. There's plenty of non ridden motorcycles out there. I doubt the clocks gone around on that seat ;D The only high numbers appear to be the price.
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

Timing belt cover is the first thing to look at, then tires, then pads & rotors.

I have my mirrors that way, to me it looks better and they don't stick out as far.

Does that make me not much of rider also?   :D

I'm used to it. :)

Well observed.  They do, in fact, not stick out as far that way.  Of course, that does nothing to shorten the hand grips.   ;)

Before I comment on what that makes you I'd have to know whether you've less than ten thousand miles claimed on your bike.   :)

Willow

Oh, Hook, before I get too honest with you I need to know, how much do you weigh and what is the length of your reach?   ;)

I only paid $600 more for mine brand-new in '01...

O' Willow, how are these mirrors?

;D  Yep, I know.  Some find their setting amusing.  They follow the lines of the bike as best I can.   ;)

Nope, can't claim less than 10K on any of them.  The one that's the closest shows 15K, but that's 115K

QuoteOh, Hook, before I get too honest with you I need to know, how much do you weigh and what is the length of your reach?   Wink

185lb and I'm not sure what my reach length is.  :-\  How do you measure that?  Shoulder to wrist?  Neck to finger tips?  Don't matter I'm not doing it  :)

I can reach the grips, so I guess I got reach.  ;D

I'll have to give the Willow Mirror Position a try. :D :D

We're a pretty close match.  I feel more comfortable now.   ;D

Yeah.  It's not really well known but that aerodynamic mirror configuration not only looks better but it gives me slightly improved fuel mileage.   :)

I still doubt the mileage.....sorry.    Those header pipes are pretty burnt and there appears to be too much dirt and oil on the lower engine.   Do those Clbra pipes get that bad so quickly?  I would hope not.

No need to apologize.  We believe or don't believe by what evidence we recognize.

They're not Cobras.  They are TBRs.  They are single walled and should not get that discolored at all riding down the road.  The way that might happen is from someone letting the bike sit and idle so long that the pipes become unreasonably hot without the movement of air over them.

Well, maybe he never rode it and just let it idle in his garage or driveway....but I doubt that as well.

I doubted the mileage on this one as well...   http://roanoke.craigslist.org/mcy/4707439635.html

I also.  Typo?

Yes, I had to ask. It's one too many zeros.  I pointed out that he might get more attention if he turned back the odo in his ad.....but it hasn't changed and maybe he just tells the wife...  hey, it's listed for sale but no one wants it for some reason. LOL
