Y'all got me in and out in an hour  I just bungeed the new tire to the radio box and rode up the Taconic to rt 6 and east to the shop

Old tire taken off and new michelin pilot road 4gt put on the R1150rtp and balance and road test

$50.00, is a fraction of what I would have had to pay at Hudson Valley MC Shop
plus they add 25 if I didnt buy the tire there
Just a 20 mile drive northeast in 22 degree weather Hardly any ice on the road to speak of

But its a DRY 22 degrees   :cooldude:

Great to have a shop that doesn't gouge you! Nothing like good old customer service & fair prices. :cooldude:

that's a good deal, but you know it is NOT cycle season and they probably were looking for work at this time of the year.

I find it best to go VERY early spring say late March or into November if riding conditions allow to get the best price on service work at a cycle shop.  I think I got both tires on my Valk I/S taken off and new Avon Cobra's mounted and balanced about 4 years ago done for 150 bucks or thereabouts.  Not bad at all compared to most cycle shops.  50 bucks is ever better per tire, especially the rear tire.  He even bled the brakes/clutch fluid and help me install the K&N air filter taking off the tank, etc. for me for a minimal extra 40-50 bucks in labor charge is all which at most full blown honda dealerships is not even 1/2 hours labor charge.

Oss,  ya gonna put screws in the tread for use this winter???  :D
