Kickin' the week off right....

Hookin' up with a couple riding buds in the morning ( Monday ) in Knoxville and Athens, Tennessee for parts unknown. This was my first weekend off in 4 weeks and I've been doing 12 to 14 hour days . Taking the week of Thanksgiving off and I can't think of a better way to start the week . I'm packin' a overnight just in case the ride get's in my head and I want to keep riding.

Good for you. I spent yesterday dashing around N GA with 3 others. Hooray for heated jacket liner and gloves.

Nearly a 300 mile day trying to find roads never ridden. A few U turns and one short section of gravel road.

Lunch at Jims Smokin Cue was excellent even with a short wait.

I've heard only good things about the BBQ at Jim's....  One rider has backed out so we are hookin' up in Knoxville.... Real good chance we'll be eating some Q @ Jim's today.

It must be true what my SC friend tells me about REAL BBQ joints  -  they  are  only  open  3 days...

I heard there's some "after Christmas" ride in the works... I'm on call
over Christmas, but I traded some Thanksgiving on-call days with
another person on the on-call rotation...

I'll be lucky if there's enough tread on the Log Truck to take it,
and lucky if I figure out how to get usable handlebars on
the black bike, so I'll still need luck to make it...
