don't stand too close to those ice formations since they can come down and whack you on the head.  Don't laugh,  my wife almost got killed last winter mere feet away when a huge ice chunk came crashing down right next to her pretty scary.  The guessing 100lb. plus chunk came crashing down in a creek and soaked her entire pants/coat. 

At least you are still riding, travel further north and no more cycle until April 1st. 

Suppose to get 4-5" of snow by tomorrow morning but really feel horrible for those poor people in NY getting hammered with 6-8' of snow, then rain, which is usually our entire winter snowfall accumulation all at once.  I can deal with 5" of snow, but once it gets over 10" in one snowfall, don't enjoy it any longer.  Cannot imagine  6 feet+ in a few days, that has to be horrible.
