Guess I should have patented it. It was at least 30 yrs. ago my girls were always turning on the light in their bedroom when all they wanted was the fan. Always pulling the wrong chain. So I cut out a little light bulb shape, painted the end white and the base gold with some black stripes to simulate the threads on the base, then hung it on the chain for the light. At the same time I changed the length of the chains, making the fan longer since that was the one they always wanted. No more confusion. They all had bedside table lamps so didn't need the overhead mounted in the fan. Once in a great while they would use it when getting dressed and wanted to check themselves out in the mirror, apparently not trusting the opinion of their sisters.
