The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is a "supercharged supersport" class motorcycle in the Kawasaki Ninja sportbike series, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, featuring a variable-speed centrifugal-type supercharger. With a claimed 300 horsepower, the H2R track-only variant has 50% more power than its nearest rival, and could greatly exceed the production motorcycle top speed of nearly 200 miles per hour held by the Suzuki Hayabusa.

Its namesake is the 750 cc Kawasaki H2 Mach IV, an inline triple that was introduced by Kawasaki in the early 1970s to "disrupt what it saw as a sleeping motorcycle market".

Impressive machine, street version is around 200 hp. Here's a video from Jay Leno's Garage review...... Still a whole lot of pony's, my poor Eliminator pales by comparison   :-[

A cousin had an old 750 Kawasaki in the early 70's.  He got rid of it because it was scary fast.

Some may remember that by 1984 Kawasaki brought out their GPZ750 Turbo.
Honda had the CX 500 Turbo and then a 650 Turbo the next year.
Yamaha had their 650 Seca Turbo and Suzuki had a GS 650Xj Turbo in the 82-83 time span.
But the Kawasaki Turbo blew them all away.

I had a Eliminator a few years ago. I did pretty good on that bike I rode it like I stole it and sold it for a couple hundred more than I paid for it. Bought a new Suzuki Bandit 1200S after that.

Never had an H2 but I had two H1's back in the 70's. I have had GS1100's, an XS11, FZ1's, a ZZR1200, a 2006 Busa and a ZX14 (what a BEAST)... The 2nd gen ZX14 is a Monster and will easily smoke a Busa and the Litre bikes. From what I read the H2 is close to 300 hp. BTW, I like the ZL900 (Eliminator) I am actually parting one out and thought about trying the air shocks on my Valk, lol.

Never owned a bike until I was 22. Wanted a red, white stripe Camaro. Fresh out of the Air Force, couldn't
afford one. So, I bought a 70 red and white H1. That was an experience. $995 out the door. Have no desire to
ride that monster. I do really like the paint.

My oldest brother had an H1 back in the day. I'd really like to take one of these new H2's for a ride.

Sold my 87 eliminator this year after 16yrs.Didn't think I'd miss it this much.looking for a ZRX to replace it.

I'm thinking that bike is a lot like a super model...

Riding either one of 'em would most likely kill me, but at least I'd go with a smile on my face!

My friend Gordon ( Lucky 13 ) has a beautiful ZRX 1200 he would sell or trade for a nice Tourer.
