I was an "always preview" poster, so I'm pretty sure I noticed it right away... it
came a few weeks ago when the whole site was busted for a few days... most
everything got rolling again after a few days, but not the preview feature...
Some folks said at the time it still worked for them... it is pretty easy to
post, review that, and then edit your already posted post, but when you are
editing an already posted post, you don't have access to the smiley faces and
other buttons...

What browser are you using. I'm pretty sure that it's a "Firefox only" browser issue with this site. It's not just you!

Can't preview here either plus the temp board will not let me post anymore at all.  Not 'fetching' on the main board and 'your session has timed out' on the temp board.

Not a big deal and I'm not going to bother Scott for the answers.

I don't always preview ........ just when post a picture to make sure it's there.
Like you guys, it hangs on "fetching".  Roll Eyes

Me too, and I'm using Mozilla Firefox.  Haven't tried with IE or Chrome.

I don't have Chrome (except on the Valk) and I'm not going to load it ....... shouldn't have to. I've been using FF and never have any problems with anything except for this. I've said it before and I'll say it again ...... this website needs desperately some help.

I know it's a money thing and perhaps we need to throw some money in a pot to fix it up! I have no idea of what it costs to keep things up and running but I think we need to figure out what it cost to fix it so that it runs smooth. No band-aids!!!

t-man403  What version of IE are you using? This post was created with IE 11.0.14 and Preview worked fine for me.

Yeah, I think that's more in line with the problem than "this web site is broken"... I don't
have any insider info on what the cause of the major blockage a few weeks ago was, but
it appeared to be some kind of maintenance at the hosting site... I'm guessing that
after the maintenance, those of use with older browsers can't deal with whatever it
is that's new or different...

IE 11.0.9600.

This computer is not a year old yet. FF was just fine before as I said. In fact FF was fine on my 8 Year old computer that's still using XP .
I know a bit while ago I was having a time even logging on so, if this is the fix ........ it ain't fixed!  ???
