take the tire and wheel to any shop and tell them you made a trailer out of motorcycle wheels and you need this one mounted..

What he said. See if he can locate an independent there. Most brand name shops are hesitant. The trailer idea sounds good!

Almost any small shop will mount it if you ask nicely!

I already asked the independent shop where I have purchased MC tires whether they would be willing to mount a CT on my rear. Their response was positive. I have to pull the front wheel and take both wheels in for a new Avon Cobra on the front and to mount the Austone Taxi Tire I have in the garage. This is my first move to the Dark Side...

Call Randy Miller at Miller's Cycle tomorrow at 828-683-3060. He's a local custom bike builder/Hot Rodder. He knows most of the independents in WNC and might give you a lead if he can't do it.
Westside Scooter Sales at 828-667-8182 might be of help. I know their name is misleading but they sell and work on all bikes, atv's, pwc, boats, etc. They might at least make some calls if he can't mount it.
MR Cycles is probably the largest multi brand new/used dealer in the area on Hendersonville Rd. 828-277-6601 is their main number who probably wont mount it but might know someone.
My farm and family is just over in Maggie Valley and have used these guys in the past but I've never had a flat or tire replaced up there. I've got my own tire machine here in Rome, Ga. so sorry I can't be of much more help...
