Riding buddy of mine wanted to fix his house.  Seems the flat roof was leaking and he want a porch.

Also, something about a small fire.

Treated it like a deck with a roof.  Had some issues with the addition someone added 50 years ago or so.  That's the flat roof part.

The original house goes back the 1800's and was/is very nice.

Half way through.  Had some funky framing I had to do on the back side, but in the end, it all came together.  My helper, Josh, on the job.

Completed.

Sure makes the house on this side.

I like old houses, even working on them. That looks good and was a nice looking house before you stated. I even like the walkway.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Although I camplain a lot sometimes, when on the job, I enjoy building.

Can't take credit for the walkway, the home owner did it.  But I agree, he did a nice job, for a Harley rider anyways. uglystupid2 2funny

Thanks, as I'm sure you know, when the customer knows what they want and what it takes to do it, it makes all the difference.  You'll go that extra step in everything you do.

That is a nice remodel/rebuild on that porch.

Should be easy ow to fix a leak in the roof if it should occur.

My old house in California had a flat roof.

I think it had more weight on it from tar and tar paper than the whole floor did.

Seemed like ever 2 or 3 years we had to re-tar and paper that roof.

The 32 years I owned that house, it would have been much cheaper to tear it off and rebuild with the style you built.

Good Show Bro.
